SYMPTOMS
When printing Lithuanian characters on PCL5 printers, Lithuanian character S-caron, s-caron (Unicode 0160, 0161) are printed incorrectly when there are no other Lithuanian characters nearby. The problem occurs when printing from Word 8.0, Excel 8.0, and other applications that support Unicode printing. These errors have been observed on an HP LaserJet 4 Plus, an HP LaserJet 4V, and a Minolta PagePro 6 printers.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0 or Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Windows NT 4.0 and Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4.0 and Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition Service Pack 4.
