SYMPTOMS

You may have an e-mail message in Microsoft Outlook that has a flag message in the header, "You replied on <date> <time>." The flag appears even though you did not reply to the message.

CAUSE

This condition may occur when you open a reply to a message, and then you save the message without sending the reply. Deleting the unsent reply will not remove the flag from the original message.

MORE INFORMATION

You cannot remove the flag once it is set. You can only change the state of the flag.
