SYMPTOMS

When you play Pinball Arcade, game performance may be very slow, and the graphics in the game may flash or blink.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if a 1 megabyte (MB) display adapter based on the Cirrus Logic CL-GD5440 chipset is installed in your computer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact your hardware manufacturer to inquire if an updated video driver is available for your display adapter.

To work around this issue, configure the game to use the Low Graphic Detail setting. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Start Pinball Arcade.
  2. On the startup screen, click Options.
  3. Under Graphic Detail, click Low.
  4. Click OK.
