This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
- You print a worksheet that contains an embedded picture such as a Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) or Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) file. -and-
- You scanned the embedded picture into Windows using a scanner. -and-
- The workbook was saved from Microsoft Excel 95 to Microsoft Excel 97 or Microsoft Excel 2000 format.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, follow these steps:
- Use the right mouse button to click (right-click) the embedded picture.
- Point to Grouping and click Ungroup.
- Click Yes when you receive the following message: This is an imported picture, not a group. If you convert it into a Microsoft Office drawing, embedded data or linking information will be lost. Do you want to convert the object?
The worksheet that contains the picture will now print correctly.
STATUS
