To hide the gridlines on a section of a worksheet, follow these steps:
- Select the range of cells that you want to remove the gridlines from.
- On the Format menu, click Cells.
- In the Format Cells dialog box, click the Patterns tab. Click to select the color that matches the background color of your worksheet (usually white).
- Click the Border tab. Click the arrow in the Color box, click the color that matches the color of the gridlines on your worksheet (usually Gray-25%), and then click Outline.
- Click OK.
The gridlines are hidden in the selected area of the worksheet.
