SUMMARY
Microsoft PowerPoint for Windows 95 version 7.0, has a Duplicate Again command on the Edit menu. This command appears after you click Duplicate on the Edit menu and then return to the Edit menu to create another duplicate. For example, if you duplicate an object and place it one inch down from the original and then return to the Edit Menu, the Duplicate command changes to the Duplicate Again command. The Duplicate Again command repeats your last Duplicate command. Hence, if you click Duplicate Again, another duplicate of the object will be placed one inch down from the first duplicate.
In PowerPoint 98 Macintosh Edition, the Duplicate command does not change to Duplicate Again. However, the Duplicate command still works in the same way, and the keyboard shortcut for this command is Command+D.
The one situation in which the Duplicate command does not stagger the new object with the same displacement at which the previous object is staggered is if duplicating the object would place it off of the slide. In this case the Duplicate command only staggers the object down and to the right.
