SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Project 98, when you select a calendar in the Change Working Time dialog box, you may receive one of the following error messages.
In Windows 95
When you click Details, you receive the following error:
In Windows NT
CAUSE
This behavior occurs in consolidated projects when you do the following in the Change Working Time dialog box:
- You choose any custom (nonstandard) calendar from an inserted project.
- You choose a second calendar that has not yet been used in the consolidated project.
RESOLUTION
To correct this problem, install Microsoft Project 98 for Windows Service Release 1 (SR-1).
To work around this problem in Microsoft Project 98 (non SR-1), follow these steps:
- On the Tools menu, click Organizer.
- Click the Calendars tab.
- Select any calendars in the Global.mpt that are not already in your project.
- Click Copy.
- Click Close.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
This problem was corrected in Microsoft Project 98 for Windows, Service Release 1 (SR-1).
