SYMPTOMS

When you print to a Hewlett-Packard DJ600 plotter, output is reversed or contains scrambled images.

CAUSE

The plotter firmware required for this printer is revision 3.40. Previous versions do not work with the Windows NT driver. Because this is an older plotter, users may not be aware of the updated firmware.

RESOLUTION

To obtain the updated firmware, contact Hewlett-Packard Technical Support or your local Hewlett-Packard reseller and request the following firmware update:

   HP PN C2847-600889
   HP PN C2848-600889
