SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Project 98, when you print or print preview a resource report that has the Period set to anything other than Entire Project, tasks may be listed during incorrect periods and may also be incorrectly repeated.
NOTE: The period specifies the time units of the intervals for which Microsoft Project prints information.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when a resource report is set to show any period other than the entire project.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, select Entire Project as the Period. To set this option, follow these steps:
- On the View menu, click Reports.
- Click Custom, then click Select.
- Select the resource report you want to print.
- Click Edit.
- On the Definition tab, in the Period list, click Entire Project.
- Click OK.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.
This problem was corrected in Microsoft Project 98 for Windows, Service Release 1 (SR-1).
