SYMPTOMS

When you use the Symantec WinFax Starter Edition with Microsoft Outlook 98 to send a fax with a cover page, the text in the header information on the cover page may be truncated, overlapped, or otherwise unreadable.

CAUSE

Your display's font size is set to large fonts.

RESOLUTION

To change your system settings to small fonts, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Display.
  3. On the Settings tab, click to select Small Fonts in the Font Size list, and then click OK.


NOTE: It may be necessary to restart Windows to apply the system settings change.


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Outlook 98. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
