SUMMARY
The process for adding the Visual Basic help file for Microsoft Outlook 98 differs from the process used in Outlook `97. In Outlook 98, the Visual Basic help files can be installed by using Add/Remove Programs to add the Development Tools component. This installs the help file, along with the Visual Basic Script Debugger.

To Add the Visual Basic Help File
- Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
- On the Install/Uninstall tab, click to select Microsoft Outlook 98, and click Add/Remove.
- In the Outlook 98 Active Setup dialog box, click Add New Components.
- Depending on the source of your initial installation, click Install From Web or Install From CD.
- Click Yes to allow Active Setup to determine the Outlook components installed on your computer.
- Click to select the Development Tools check box and click Next.
- Click to select a Download Site, and click Install Now.
- When the download is complete, quit all programs and restart your computer.
A new help topic entitled "Microsoft Outlook Visual Basic Reference" will be added to the existing help topics.
