To insert a shortcut into an appointment, contact, or task, follow these steps:
- Open an appointment, contact, or task.
- On the Insert menu click Item.
- In Look In, click to select Calendar, Contacts, or Tasks.
- In Items, click to select the target appointment, contact, or task.
- In Insert As, click to select Shortcut.
- Click OK.
Double-clicking the inserted shortcut will take you directly to the target appointment, contact, or task.
You can use this technique to link together any combination of appointments, contacts, and tasks.
