To work around this problem, modify the macro to include the RichText:=True argument.
To edit the macro:
- On the Tools menu, point to Macro, and then click Macros.
- Select the recorded macro, and then click Edit.
Look for the line that inserts the AutoText entry. For example:
NormalTemplate.AutoTextEntries("test").Insert Where:=Selection.Range
Change the statement above to the following:
NormalTemplate.AutoTextEntries("test").Insert _ Where:=Selection.Range , RichText:=True
- In the Visual Basic Editor, on the File menu click Close and Return to Microsoft Word.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
