SYMPTOMS

When you type arguments into a Visual Basic for Applications macro, some of the arguments may not be capitalized automatically.

CAUSE

Visual Basic for Applications automatically capitalizes an argument that is recognized as an object, method, property, or type library name. For example, "Name" can be an argument and a property, so the "N" is capitalized. However, "savechanges" is an argument only, so the "s" and the "c" are not capitalized.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
