SYMPTOMS
When you use the Visual Basic for Applications GetAddress Method and omit the optional Name argument, you receive the following error message:
When you click Details, the following message appears:
For example, the following command line will cause this problem:
x = Application.GetAddress(CheckNamesDialog:=True)
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, include the Name argument when you use the GetAddress method. The Name argument can be a null value, like this:
x = Application.GetAddress(Name:="", CheckNamesDialog:=True)
For more information about GetAddress Method, click the Office Assistant while in the Visual Basic Editor, type GetAddress Method click Search, and then click to view "GetAddress Method."
