SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to obtain document properties from a template using the Visual Basic for Applications MacroContainer object, you may receive the following error message:

This problem occurs if the template in which this macro is stored is included as a global add-in.
For example:
The following sample Visual Basic for Applications macro will run successfully if the template is first opened in Word. However, this same macro will produce the run-time error message if the template in which it is located is included as a global add-in:
Sub GetKeywords()
MsgBox MacroContainer.BuiltInDocumentProperties(wdPropertyKeywords)
End Sub
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, open your template or document prior to running the macro stored in your template or document.
