To back up your MSN Deluxe Portfolio data, follow these steps.
Note The Deluxe version of MSN Money Investing requires Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition or a later version and Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 Service Pack 1 or a later version.
To back up your portfolio, follow these steps:
- Open Portfolio Manager.
- In the Other Tasks section, click More, click File options, and then click Backup.
- In the File Name box, type the name that you want.
- In the Save In box, click the folder where you want to save the file, and then click Save.
To restore a backup of your portfolio, follow these steps:
- Open Portfolio Manager.
- In the Other Tasks section, click More, click File options, and then click Restore backup.
- Find the backup that you want to restore, and then click Next.
- Follow the directions that appear on the screen to complete the Restore.
Note If you use the Basic version of MSN Money Portfolio, your data file is stored on a data center server at MSN Money.
