SYMPTOMS
When you make a global change to a resource calendar to change all of the working times for the month to something other than the default times, you cannot select the Nonworking or Default options in the Change Working Time dialog box for a single day.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, use the following steps:
- On the Tools menu, click Change Working Time.
- From the For box, select the resource you want to modify.
- On the calendar, select the day you want to change.
- Under Working Time, delete the From and To settings.
- Reselect the Calendar day by clicking on it, then click the nonworking or default options.
You can now click to select the Nonworking or the Default options under Make Date(s).
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.
