PI: Image Just Opened Is Not Visible in Picture Pane

SYMPTOMS

When you open an image in Picture It! it may appear on the filmstrip, but not in the main picture pane. You may also see the Windows desktop behind the Get It buttons.

CAUSE

This problem has been reported with the following display drivers:

Trident 9660/968x/938x Linear Accelerated for PCI, version 1.31.19


RESOLUTION

Install the newest version of the display driver, or try a different but compatible driver.
