Neverhood: Can't Read the Hints in the Mailroom

SYMPTOMS

The text on the notes in the mailroom is too fuzzy or garbled to read.

CAUSE

The video driver does not support DirectDraw.

RESOLUTION

Change Graphics Acceleration to Basic.

To change the Graphics Acceleration settings, do the following:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double- click System.
2. On the Performance tab, click Graphics.
3. Move the Acceleration slider to one notch above None.
4. Click OK, then click Close.

NOTE: If this does not resolve the problem, contact your hardware manufacturer to obtain an updated driver.
