SYMPTOMS
If you print preview a form which has the MinMaxButtons property set to None, and then quit Microsoft Access version 7.0, you may receive one of the following error messages.
In Microsoft Windows 95
In Microsoft Windows NT Version 3.51
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem, click Close on the File menu to close the print preview and the form, and then if needed, reopen the form in Form view.

Preview a report based on the record in the form.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access 7.0. This problem no longer occurs in Microsoft Access 97.

Steps to Reproduce Problem
- Open the sample database Northwind.mdb.
- Open the Customers form in Design view.
- Set the MinMaxButtons property of the form to None.
- Close and save the form.
- Open the Customers form in Form view.
- Click the Print Preview button on the toolbar.
- Click the Close button on the toolbar.
- Close the form, close the database, and then quit Microsoft Access. Note that you receive the error message mentioned in the "Symptoms" section.
