SYMPTOMS
When you use a formula that divides the number 1 by the number 1.25 raised to the 16th power and attempt to paste only the value from the formula into another cell, an incorrect value is pasted.
When the result value of the following formula (0.028147) is pasted into a cell
=1/(1.25^16)
the value 0.01 is pasted instead of the correct value.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Excel for Windows 95, version 7.0a.
