  1. Q. Will this service work with my bank or credit union?

    A. Online Bill Payment works with any checking account at any financial institution in the United States.

  2. Q. How do I sign up?

    A. Use the instructions below for your version of Money:

    Money for Windows 95 ——————–

    1. Open Money.

    2. At the Contents Window, click the Online Services button.

    3. Follow the screen instructions.

    Money 3.0 ———

    1. In Program Manager, open the Money program group.

    2. Double-click the Online Sign-up Form icon.

    3. Follow the screen instructions.

  3. Q. Are there bills that I cannot pay with Online Bill Payment?

    A. Any payments that must be accompanied by an official form, for example, tax payments or court-directed payments, should not be paid with Online Bill Payment.

  4. Q. How do I pay for the service?

    A. When you sign up for Online Services, you designate an account as the payment account. The service fee is automatically deducted from this account. The deduction does not count as one of your 20 payments.

  5. Q. When are payments debited from my account?

    A. Funds are withdrawn from your account when the payee deposits or cashes your check.

  6. Q. Will the payments appear on my bank and credit union statements?

    A. Yes. Payments made using this service are listed on your monthly statement. You can compare this information to your Money records.

    NOTE: Some electronic payees appear on statements as an electronic withdrawal instead of a check.

  7. Q. Can I pay from multiple accounts?

    A. You can use up to 10 separate accounts at the same bank with this service.

    NOTE: This may change if you also subscribe to Online Banking Services. If you use both Online Bill Payment and Online Banking, call your assigned customer service number if you have any questions.

  8. Q. What do I do if a payment doesn’t arrive in 5 days?

    A. Contact Customer Service through the e-mail service that is built into Money, or call your assigned Customer Service number.

  9. Q. Do I have to reenter address information every time I pay someone?

    A. No. The first time you pay an individual or institution, you enter the payment address and your account number. After that, you only need to enter the payment amount and due date.

  10. Q. Can I still use my current checks?

    A. Yes. Using Online Bill Payment is like having a second checkbook for the same account. Payments made with Online Bill Payment are assigned special check numbers in Money to distinguish them from your regular bank checks.

  11. Q. How do I get help?

    A. You can reach Customer Service 24-hours-a-day through the e-mail feature built into Money. Or, you can call the your number.

  12. Q. How much does the service cost?

    A. For current rates, contact Online Services at (800) 200-7622.

  13. Q. What should I do with my utility payment coupon/stub?

    A. A payment coupon isn’t necessary with Online Bill Payment. Money lets you include an account number with your online payment.
