--------------------------------------------------------------------

 - Microsoft Publisher for Windows, versions 2.0, 2.0a
--------------------------------------------------------------------

SYMPTOMS
========

If you upgrade to Windows 95 after installing Publisher 2.0, Publisher may
fail to run. That is, if you double-click Mspub.exe in My Computer or
Windows Explorer, or if you try to start Publisher from the Start menu, the
program will not be started.

RESOLUTION
==========

To run Publisher, you must uninstall and then reinstall Windows 95.

NOTE: For this procedure to work, you have need to have chosen to save the
uninstall information for Windows 95 during Windows 95 Setup.

1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.

3. On the Install/Uninstall tab, click Windows 95, and then click Remove.

You can also remove Windows 95 by starting your computer with the Windows
95 Startup disk and then typing "uninstal" (without the quotation marks) at
the command prompt.

After you return to Windows 3.1x, run Windows 95 setup again.

STATUS
======
