PUB3: Print TrueType as Graphics Always On Printing Banners

--------------------------------------------------------------------
The information in this article applies to:

 - Microsoft Publisher for Windows 95, version 3.0
--------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY
=======

If you print a banner or poster from Publisher for Windows 95 to any kind
of Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet or compatible printer, TrueType fonts are
always downloaded as graphics.

MORE INFORMATION
================

When you print a banner or poster from Publisher 2.0, the Tile Printing
Options dialog box has a Print TrueType As Graphics check box. You can
choose whether you want this on or off. In Publisher for Windows 95, there
is no check box in the Tile Printing Options dialog box, and TrueType fonts
will always be downloaded as graphics when you print a banner or poster.

Downloading TrueType as graphics assures that letters that split across two
tiles will print correctly and that text in extremely large point sizes
will print. It can, however, reduce printing speed.
