The information in this article applies to:
- == Microsoft Works for the Macintosh, versions 4.0, 4.0a, 4.0b ==
SYMPTOMS
When you create a chart in Works with time information on the chart’s Y-axis, the time information in the chart appears in 12-hour format even if the time information in the chart’s spreadsheet is in 24-hour (military) format.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, copy the chart, paste it into a Draw document, and then manually change the time format.
NOTE: When you do this, the chart is no longer linked to the spreadsheet. When you change information in the spreadsheet, you must manually update the chart.
- Click the chart you want to use.
- On the Edit menu, click Copy.
- When Works warns you that the copied chart will not be linked to your spreadsheet, click OK.
- On the File menu, click New.
- On the Works Startup screen, click Draw, and then click New.
- On the Edit menu for the Draw document, click Paste.
- Use the Draw tools to modify the time information in the chart.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Works for the Macintosh, versions 4.0, 4.0a, and 4.0b.
