SYMPTOMS
When you create a new letter with Bob Letter Writer and change the printer setup or default printer for that letter (and you don’t exit Letter Writer), the program reverts to your original printer settings for any additional letters.
STATUS
This behavior is by design. Bob Letter Writer changes printer settings as you create them, but defaults to the original settings every time a new letter is created.
MORE INFORMATION
This behavior can be beneficial if you usually use a certain paper or printer configuration.
For example, if you set your default printer to print in portrait on 8.5-by- 11.5-inch paper, you probably don’t want to lose that setting if you format a single letter to print in landscape mode.
In Letter Writer, that one letter would print in landscape, then all new letters would revert to the portrait setting automatically.
