SUMMARY

When you use the Administrative Setup (from disks) of Works, you may receive an error message indicating Setup could not locate the 68000 version of Microsoft Works and may not complete the installation.

MORE INFORMATION

Microsoft Works for the Power Macintosh is an upgrade of the standard 68K version of Microsoft Works. It can only be installed if the 68K version is on the computer. In addition, the Administrative Setup of the 68K version of Microsoft Works must be installed before you attempt the Administrative Setup for the Power Macintosh.

After you complete the 68K Administrative Setup, go directly to the Administrative Setup installation for the Power Macintosh.
