SYMPTOMS
When you save or print a Windows NT Diagnostics (WINMSD.EXE) report that includes Hardware information, there may be two or more lines for System BIOS Version. The first line usually contains correct information, however the rest of the System BIOS Version lines have erroneous information. For example:

Note:
- This problem occurs three to four times in every ten tries.
- The corruption usually looks different every time.
- This problem also occurs when you save or print Report All.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
