Money: Payment Due Dates May Vary in Loan Reports

SUMMARY
Incorrect dates on the Loan Payment Report (Microsoft Money versions 2.0 and 3.0) or the Loan Amortization Report (Money 99, 98, 5.0 and 4.0) may occur when you choose the twenty-eighth, twenty-ninth, or thirtieth as the due date in the Loan Wizard.

Money handles the three due dates in the following manner:
28: Dates are correct until a non-leap year month with only twenty-eight days occurs. After that, the report reflects end of the month dates for all of the following months.
29: Dates are correct until a month with only twenty-eight days or a twenty-nine day, leap-year month occurs. After that, the report reflects end of the month dates for all the following months.
30: Dates are incorrect beginning with the first payment when the first month has thirty-one days. Each date following this reflects an end of the month date for all months.
WORKAROUND
Create a new loan with a payment date of the twenty-seventh or thirty- first of the month.
-or-
Change the payment date manually in the Account Register or Account Book, and in the Loan Register if using Money versions 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0. This corrects payments to the current date, but not in the future.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
