- Microsoft Project for the Macintosh, version 4.0

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project, when you display the Unhide Module dialog box, none of the modules in the Module list are selected. Because of this behavior, if there is only one module hidden in your project or the Global Template file, you cannot unhide the module by simply displaying the Unhide Module dialog box, and pressing RETURN.

NOTE: To display the Unhide Module dialog box (only in the Module Editor view) choose Module from the Edit menu, and then choose Unhide Module.

WORKAROUNDS

To work around this problem, use any of the following methods.

Method 1: (Using the keyboard) When the Unhide Module box appears, press SPACEBAR to select the first module in the Module list, and press RETURN.

Method 2: (Using a mouse or other pointing device) In the Unhide Module dialog box, select the module that you want to unhide, and choose OK.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
