SUMMARY
The Automap Global Positioning System (GPS) drivers require the file AMW.EXE to be present in the installation directory before the program will install.
NOTE: This file does not work with Automap Streets version 4.0 for Windows

To install the Automap GPS drivers to Automap Road Atlas 4.0:
Open Notepad.
From the File menu, choose Save As.
Name the file AMW.EXE and save to the Road Atlas 4.0 directory.
Close Notepad.
Insert the Automap GPS disk.
In Program Manager, choose Run from the File menu.
In the Command Line box, type the following and press ENTER

where <drive> is your floppy disk drive. For example, if your floppy disk drive is drive A, type:

Enter the path location to Road Atlas when prompted by the installation program.
Automap Road Atlas version 4.0 does not create the file AMW.EXE. You can force the GPS drivers to load by creating a file in Notepad. Name the file AMW.EXE and save the file in the Automap directory.
