- Microsoft Bob, version 1.0

SUMMARY

The screen wrap feature that comes with Microsoft Mouse versions 9.x and 10.x is turned off when a dialog balloon needs a selection to be made.

MORE INFORMATION

Microsoft Bob uses three different types of dialog balloons:

  • An information balloon that gives the user a hint or added information.
  • A balloon that offers choices but will disappear if something else is clicked.
  • A balloon that needs an item to be selected in order to continue.

When a selection is required, the screen wrap function is turned off, until a choice is entered. An example of one of these balloons is the balloon at the front door with the dialog “Who’s there.”
