Text in Quotation Marks Causes Error with Open From Database |

SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Project, when you choose the Open From Database command (from the Tools menu, choose Multiple Projects, and then choose Open From Database), you may receive the following error messages:

Value not valid; must be Yes or NO
Choose Yes to continue messages, NO to stop messages, Cancel to stop import.
When you choose Yes or No, you receive the message:
Field exceeds maximum size and has been truncated(line #). It may no longer be valid.
CAUSE
This problem occurs if the beginning of the task name field contains text in quotation marks followed by additional text.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
