SYMPTOMS
When you scroll quickly in a database form (for example, by pressing the TAB key to move from field to field in a form with more fields than will fit on the screen at once), the screen may not be redrawn correctly. Some of the fields may appear to be missing and sections of the screen may appear blank.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem and redraw the screen correctly, close and then reopen the database file, or select each of the hidden fields with the mouse.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Works version 3.0 for Windows. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Works versions 3.0a and later.
MORE INFORMATION
Steps to Reproduce Problem
- Open a large database file in Form view.
- Resize the document window so that the fields on the right half of the screen cannot be seen.
- Press and hold the TAB key to scroll through several records. The left half of the screen is not redrawn correctly. If you minimize and then maximize the document window or switch to List view and back, the entire form disappears.
