SUMMARYIf you double-click a general field in a database, the field will not open and the error message "Error Initializing OLE" will appear even if the field is empty. CAUSEThis error may be caused by a missing "Shared Code Manager" file in the Extensions folder. RESOLUTIONMake sure the "Shared Code Manager" file is in the Extensions folder. If it isn't in the folder, you can install it by performing a custom installation of FoxPro. During the installation, clear all the check boxes except for the one labeled "FoxPro for Macintosh".
