1.50 WINDOWS kbtool kbbuglist ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The information in this article applies to: - The Visual Workbench included with: Microsoft Visual C++ for Windows, version 1.5 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- SYMPTOMS ======== Closing the Visual Workbench while a Books Online topic is open causes the Books Online topic to close also. However, the Books Online viewer is left open. STATUS ====== Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this bug and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available. This is not a problem in Visual C++ 32-bit Edition, version 1.0. MORE INFORMATION ================ This problem is reproducible regardless of whether the Visual Workbench was open before the window for the Books Online topic was open. To reproduce the behavior mentioned in the "SYMPTOMS" section, perform the following steps: 1. Run Books Online. 2. Open any topic listed. 3. Open the Visual Workbench and rearrange the windows so that you can see both the open topic window and the Visual Workbench. (It does not matter whether they overlap.) 4.
