We are researching this bug and will post new information in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available. MORE INFORMATION ================ The sample code used to reproduce this problem used a data file too large to include here. The application used the data file to draw a map of the world, and the _floodfill() function was used in an attempt to fill the areas of the map covered by the ocean. The region of the map that _floodfill() had problems with involved the complex coastline of the area around Baffin Island in the Arctic Ocean.
