SYMPTOMSIf a report band is resized over the position of the cursor, a general protection (GP) fault will occur. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, leave multiple-object mode by clicking elsewhere on the screen before moving the separator bar. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro 2.5b and 2.6 for Windows. This problem was corrected in FoxPro version 2.6a for Windows. MORE INFORMATIONThe GP fault occurs anytime a separator bar above the position of the cursor is moved while the Report Writer is in this mode. Steps to Reproduce Problem1. Modify any report using the Report Writer. 2. Double-click the Text tool, which places the Report Writer in multiple- object mode. The "A" should become reverse video. 3. Click anywhere in the Detail band to insert the cursor. You do not have to type any text. 4. Click the Adjustment button on the the separator bar between the Page Header and Detail Band. (The separator bar is on the left side of the Report Layout window.) 5. Pull the bar down over the Detail band. 6. Release the mouse button. A GP fault should occur. This problem occurs only when the Text tool is in multiple-object mode.
