PRB: Syntax Error in GroupLevel Property Example

Article ID: Q114084
Creation Date: 25-APR-1994
Revision Date: 19-SEP-1996 The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Access version 2.0

SYMPTOMS

Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers.

The "GroupLevel Property" topic in the Microsoft Access Help system contains a syntax error in the example. The example in the "Remarks" section of the Help topic reads:

   Me!GroupLevel(0).ControlSource = "City"

This information is incorrect. RESOLUTION

The correct syntax for this example is:

   Me.GroupLevel(0).ControlSource = "City"

Note that the correct syntax uses a period (.) after "Me" instead of an exclamation point (!). STATUS

This behavior does not occur in Microsoft Access for Windows 95 version 7.0.
