  • Microsoft Project for the Macintosh, versions 1.1, 3.0

SUMMARY

Microsoft Project 4.0

Microsoft Project 4.0 uses the Time Format from the International settings. If the time format is set to 12 hour, and the AM/PM boxes are blank, then times entered in Microsoft Project are interpreted as follows:

Entry Range Interpreted As
0:00-0:59 12:00 AM-12:59 AM
1:00-6:59 1:00 PM-6:59 PM
7:00-11:59 7:00 AM-11:59 AM
12:00-23:59 12:00 PM-11:59 PM

There are some times that cannot be represented, for example 6:00 AM. All times in the default Standard calendar working day can be represented.

Microsoft Project 1.1 and 3.0

In Microsoft Project 1.1 and 3.0, the time format (12 hour versus 24 hour) and the AM/PM text are determined by settings in the Preferences dialog box, and not from the International settings in the Windows Control Panel. If the Time Format option is set to 12 Hour, and the 0:00 To 11:59 Text and 12:00 To 23:59 Text preferences are blank, then times entered in Microsoft Project are interpreted as follows:

Entry Range Interpreted As
0:00-0:59 12:00 AM-12:59 AM
1:00-11:59 1:00 PM-11:59 PM
12:00-23:59 12:00 PM-11:59 PM

There are some times that cannot be represented, for example 8:00 AM.
