SYMPTOMS
When you print to an Apple ImageWriter II, colored objects and text print in black and white. This occurs because the applications listed at the top of this article use Color QuickDraw routines that the ImageWriter II driver does not support. Although the ImageWriter II is a color printer and uses a color ribbon, its driver does not support Color QuickDraw.
RESOLUTION
The applications listed at the top of this article can print correctly in color to printers, such as the Hewlett-Packard (HP) DeskWriter, which do support Color QuickDraw.
