This article explains how to add the Microsoft Access Knowledge Base (KB) Help file to the Microsoft Access Help menu.

This article assumes that you have already obtained the KB Help file. If you do not have the file, refer to article \[\[..\/\|Q\]\] for full instructions on how to obtain the file.

MORE INFORMATION

To add the Microsoft Access KB Help file to the Help menu, add the following line to the [Menu Add-Ins] section of the MSACCESS.INI file:

   Access &KB==Shell("winhelp c:\access\acckb1.hlp",1)

   -or-

   Access &KB==Shell("winhelp c:\access\acckb2.hlp",1)

Note that this article assumes that the KB Help file is located in the ACCESS directory on drive C. If the file and its associated DLL files are located elsewhere, the error message "Routine not found" will be generated when you run the new command on the Help menu. REFERENCES
