SYMPTOMSWhen you are printing or previewing a report with a data group and the New Page and Reset Page Number options are selected, the first group will start with _PAGENO = 1, but other groups will begin with _PAGENO = 2. CAUSEThe report has a Bottom Margin setting greater than 0 (zero). RESOLUTIONSet Bottom Margin to 0 and add the necessary lines to the Page Footer band. For example, if Bottom Margin is set to 2, reset it to 0 and add two lines to the Page Footer band. MORE INFORMATIONSteps to Reproduce Behavior1. Create a new report. 2. Open the CUSTOMER database and create an index on the STATE field. 3. Create a quick report. 4. Create a group based on the STATE field. 5. Select the New Page and Reset Page Number options. 6. Make sure the _PAGENO variable is displayed on the page. 7. From the Report menu, choose Page Layout. 8. Change Bottom Margin to 1, and then choose OK. 9. From the Report menu, choose Page Preview.
