SUMMARY
Works for Windows, multimedia edition, version 3.0 has the following key differences:

CHANGES TO SYSTEM FILES
Works for Windows, multimedia edition, version 3.0 makes the following additional changes to the Windows 3.1 system files.
NOTE: The "Works/Money CD-ROM" mentioned below refers to a special version of Microsoft Works for Windows and Microsoft Money, bundled together on the same CD-ROM disk.

MOVIE.DEX file (located in MSWORKS.CBT directory) with size of 7424
SETUP.INF file with size of 22939 (may vary)
SETUP.STF file with size of 85151 (may vary)
WKSLANG.DLL file with size of 271872
In comparison, the non-multimedia edition adds the following files to the same directory in which your MSWORKS.EXE file resides:
