  • == Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, versions 5.0, 5.1, and 5.1a ==

SYMPTOMS

If you click Format on the Style menu after opening a WordPerfect document that was saved in WordPerfect 5.0/5.1 format from WordPerfect 2.0 for the Macintosh, Microsoft Word may stop responding.

WORKAROUND

A WordPerfect 2.0 for the Macintosh file converter is now available for use with Word. Therefore, there is no longer a need to save WordPerfect 2.0 for the Macintosh documents into WordPerfect for MS-DOS format to make these documents readable.
