WINDOWS NT

The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Win32 Software Development Kit (SDK) for Windows NT, version 3.1

During the beta program for Windows NT, the operating system was distributed with a Unicode font that supports over 1300 different glyphs. This font was named UCLUCIDA.TTF during the beta program. However, for the final release of Windows NT, the font has been renamed to L_10646.TTF. The two files are essentially identical except for the filenames. The font facename is the same for both files; it is “Lucida Sans Unicode.”

The L_10646.TTF font is not installed by default. Use the Control Panel, Fonts utility to install it. To see all of the glyphs present in Lucida Sans Unicode, use the Ttfonts sample application. Ttfonts is distributed with the Win32 Software Development Kit and VC++ for Windows NT.
