SYMPTOMS
If your documents are maximized, switching between documents in Word version 6.0 is slower than in Word version 5.5 for MS-DOS.
STATUS
We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
WORKAROUND
If you have more than one document open, switch the windows to the nonmaximized state by choosing Restore from the Window menu.
