The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Word for Windows, versions 2.0, 2.0a, 2.0a-CD, 2.0b, 2.0c - Microsoft Windows operating system versions 3.0 and 3.1

SUMMARY

If you need to control which page of a Word for Windows document prints on the front side of a duplex printout, insert even section breaks.

MORE INFORMATION

In the four-page document pictured below, the second section starts on page 4. If you print this document in duplex mode, page 4 prints on the back of page 3.

|————-| |————| | | | | | Section 1 | | Section 1 | | Pg. 1 | | Pg. 2 | | | | | | | | | |_____________| |____________|

|————-| |————| | | | | | Section 1 | | Section 2 | | Pg. 3 | | Pg. 4 | | | | | | | | | |_____________| |____________|

WORKAROUND

To prevent page 4 from printing on the back of page 3, position the insertion point at the beginning of section 2 (page 4) and insert an even-page section break.
