MS TCP/IP BAPI Interface does not Support Multiple Windows

SUMMARY

The Microsoft LAN Manager TCP/IP stack and BAPI interface for terminal emulation does not support multiple windows under WINDOWS 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups.

Terminal emulators such as Kermit can support connections to multiple machines from a single window. However, only one window at a time can reliably use the BAPI interface. Attempting to run Kermit from two different MS-DOS prompts results in data from one window being displayed in the other. Similar problems may occur when using terminal emulators from third parties over the BAPI interface.
